Orie Linus Pugh, 90, of Cynthiana died Saturday at the River Valley Nursing Home in Butler.
He was a farmer, a member of Mt. Gilead Christian Church, member
and past master of the Claysville Masonic Lodge, member of the Cynthiana
Chapter of the Masonic Lodge and member and past worthy patron of the
Order of the Eastern Star in Falmouth.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Berdinia, and a son, Orie Leroy Pugh.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth A. Pugh and James Matthew Pugh,
both of Cynthiana; a daughter, Brenda Pugh of Tarpon Springs, Fla.;
brothers, Wallace Pugh and Adrian Pugh, both of Falmouth, and Fred Pugh
of Edgewood; sisters, Betty Wolfe of Cincinnati, Margie Brown of Amelia,
Ohio and Carolyn Walthers of Falmouth; nine grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; and six great, great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodhead Funeral Home in
Falmouth. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the
funeral home. Burial will be in Sunrise Cemetery.
