Mrs. Esta McKenzie, 61, Martha, died Saturday at her home after a heart attack on June 1. She was born Dec 25, 1906, in Johnson County, a daughter of Ed Blanton of Martha and the late Hattie Howard Blanton. Survivors include her husband, Ova McKenzie; five sons, Eual, of Fuget, J. P., Eugene, and Paul of Columbus, OH and Ora McKenzie of Martha; three daughters, Mrs. Jewell Scaggs, Keaton, Mrs. Maxine Segraves of Martha, and Mar. Hatie Wilson of Columbus; four brothers, John Blanton, Elna, Jim Blanton, Martha, Melvin Blanton of Beatyville, and Elzie Blanton of Win; four sisters, Mrs. Alta Cantrell and Miss Dalla Mae Blanton of Fuget, Mrs. Ethel Curtis of Staffordsville and Mrs. Mary Cochran of Win; 19 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at Cold Springs United Baptist Church at Win by Elders Sandy Phillips, Tommy Bailey and Arnold Reed. Burial will be in Patty Flat Cemetery at Elna.
