Wallace Pugh, 85, Falmouth, Ky., died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, Ky.

He was born on April 7, 1924 in Sunrise, Ky., a son of the late Quincy E. and Irene Traylor Pugh. On Dec. 24, 1952 he married Betty Bruin Pugh, and his wife survives his passing. He was retired from GM in Norwood, Ohio, a member of Mt. Gilead Christian Church and a US Navy veteran of World War I.

Survivors include: a daughter, Brenda Pugh of Tarpon Springs, Fla.,; a son, Steven Pugh of Falmouth, two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; three sisters, Margie Brown and Betty Wolfe, both of Amelia, Ohio, and Carolyn Walthers of Falmouth; and two brothers, Adrian Pugh of Falmouth and Fred Pugh of Edgewood, Ky.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lelia Swart and Francis Chloe, and two brothers, Oris Linus Pugh and Quincy 'Bill' Pugh.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 13 at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth with the Rev. Tony Campbell officiating. Burial with full military honors by Hardin-Browning Post #109 followed in Morgan Cemetery, Pendleton County.
