Ethel Ann Ruggles, 69, of Maysville, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Miss Ruggles was born in Rowan County on April 11, 1948, to the late Johnny D. and Rose Marie Ross Ruggles.

She was a member of the Hickory Grove Christian Holiness Church in Tollesboro.

She is survived by six sisters, Ida Mae Ruggles of Flemingsburg, Mary Frances (Jimmy) Emmons of Hillsboro, Betty Jean Davis of Flemingsburg, Pauline Willis of Ewing, Linda (Larry) Herrington of Ewing, and Florence (Steve) Hickerson of Flemingsburg; a nephew, Jonathan (Kelly) Herrington of Nicholasville; and niece, Rose Ann (Randall) Deaton of Hazard; two great nieces; one great nephew; two great great nieces; and  one great great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frankie Ruggles; sister, Wilma Ruggles; nephew, Clinton Ruggles; and niece, Alicia Herrington.

Services are 1 p.m., Wednesday, November. 15, 2017, at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home in Flemingsburg. Pastor Todd Wiley will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home is 6 – 8 p.m., on Tuesday.
