Mabel Blanton, 45, died at 1:30 p.m. June 21, in a local hospital following an illness of several weeks. Born March 23, 1920, she was the daughter of Walter and Sally Prichard Blanton. She was an employee of the Ben Snyder Company, Louisville. Survivors include one brother, James Blanton, Albion Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Dixie Blanton, Oil Springs; Mrs. Ollie Conley, Staffordsville; Mrs. Mona Rooker, Seattle Wash. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 24, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Paintsville Funeral Home., with the Revs, Jeff H. Burton and Cline Salyer officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
