Anna Dean Waltz Johnson, age 77, of Country Place, Georgetown, Ohio, formerly of Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 17, 2008, at her residence.
She was born September 18, 1931, in Hillsboro, Kentucky, daughter of the late Harry Lewis Waltz and Bessie May Bradley Waltz. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lena Rivers. Her husband, Ellis Johnson, whom she married July 10, 1947, passed away August 5, 1988.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by three sisters, Georgia Ellis of Bethel, Ohio, Dora Lands of Georgetown, Ohio, and Ramona Kirker of Milford, Ohio, and three brothers, Charles Lewis Waltz of Mount Orab, Ohio, Marion Waltz of Gleneste, Ohio, and Harrison Scott Waltz of Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker.
Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2008, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Elder Lonnie Gregory officiating. Burial was in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Visitation was after 10 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2008, at the Hutton Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Kentucky.
