Sabra Marie Blevins Littleton, age 89, of Brooksville, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the St. Elizabeth Health Care in Ft. Thomas.

Born January 11, 1925, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late James Buchanan Blevins and Virgie May Fisher Blevins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Orville Blevins and Cecil Blevins; five sisters, Minnie Carter, Martha Littleton, Ethel Littleton, Ruth Littleton, and Loma Littleton; a daughter, Ann Depew; and a grandson, William Alex Littleton.

Mrs. Littleton is survived by her husband of 73 years, Norman Glen Littleton, whom she married December 24, 1940; two sons, Ronald G. Littleton of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Larry G. Littleton of Foster, Kentucky; one daughter, Audrey May Brennan of Cold Springs, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry, loved nature, and especially spending time with her family, friends, and church family.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Elders Cephas Littleton, Noel Lee, Joe Humphries, and Harold Burchett officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Turner, Tim King, Tony Littleton, Ron Spencer, Chase Littleton, and Gary Neely. Honorary pallbearers will be great grandchildren.

Visitation is from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.

Special church service 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel by the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church.
