Gail Melburn Bradley, age 77, of Morehead, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014, at his home.

He was born July 10, 1936, in Rowan County to the late Thomas and Ethel McKee Bradley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, George, Marvin, Roscoe, Milford, Jessie and Ora Bradley, and three sisters, Parma Lee Campbell, Joyce Brunson, and baby sister, Tiny Mae Bradley.

Gail is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Roberta "Kay" Strange Bradley; one son, Melburn Bradley of Morehead; two daughters, Virginia "Jenny" Bradley Gray and husband Terry of Tollesboro and Linda Jo Bradley of Morehead; and one grandson, Dewayne Gray, whom his Papaw adored.

Other survivors include three brothers, Lodis and JoEllen Bradley of Hamersville, Ohio, Elmo Bradley of Vanceburg, and Sanford and Joyce Bradley of Morehead; one sister, Katherine Decker of Granger, Indiana; a special nephew, Ricky "Grizz" Bradley of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Bradley was a farmer most of his life He loved his farm animals, his favorite dog "Boomer," gardening, and helping others.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Harry Gay and Bro. Jerry Arbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Doug Bradley, Allen Bradley, Mike Bradley, Billy Bradley, Ricky Bradley and Tom Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers: Sam Bradley, Lodis Bradley, Elmo Bradley, Katherine Decker, and Dewayne Gray.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
