William Herbert Lemaster, 60, died suddenly on Wednesday morning, August 23. Born in Silverhill, Ky. on June 17, 1907 and the son of Stephen and Mary Jane Bayes Lemaster, he was a thirty seven year resident of West Prestonburg. He was employed for thirty-eight years by the Kentucky and West Virginia Gas Company. Survivors include his wife, Beulah Blanton Lemaster, one son, Paul, of Allen; one daughter, Mrs. Millard Hughes, Jr., of Prestonburg; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Everett Lemaster of Volga, four daughters, Mrs. Hester Trimble, of Dwale, Mrs. Alice Williams, of Oil Springs, Mrs. Sarah Gillem, of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Fannie Blanton, of Dwale. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 26, at 10:00 a.m. in the Fishtrap United Baptist Church, Manila with Arnold Reed and James H. Blair officiating. Burial followed in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under the direction of Paintsville Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald Wednesday August 30, 1967
