Jean Glass Fryman, 77, of Carlisle died on Sunday, Apr. 25, 2010. She
was born in Fleming County on July 3, 1932 to the late William Albert
and Addie Mae Helphenstine Glass. She was a loving housewife and mother.She is survived by her children: Terry (Dianna) Fryman, Peggy (Jimmy) Phillips, Lola ( Marion) Hopkins, Katheryne McGlothin, Rickey (Mavis) Fryman, Woody (Penny) Fryman, Sandra (Robert) Hopkins, Steve Fryman, Mike Fryman (Jennifer Bryant), Valerie (Ricky) Jolly, Peggy (Jimmy) Phillips and Elaine Fryman; her grandchildren: Christopher Fryman, Keith (Lori) Fryman, Michella Hopkins, Timothy (Jackie) Hopkins, Marion Hopkins Jr., Betty Mae (Andy) Jolly, Tina Sue McGlothin, Roger McGlothin Jr., Stacey (Aaron) Speaks, Daniel Snyder, Courtney Fryman, Shawn Fryman, Marcus Hopkins, Jackie Hopkins, Robert Allen (Charlotte) Hopkins, Stephanie Dawn Corbin, Heather Denise Fryman, Keena Necole Warmouth, Chelsea Marie Asbury, Joshua Fryman, Nicholas Fryman, Jessica Hunt. Ricky Lane Jolly, James (Amy) Phillips, April (William) Jones and Nathan Watkins; her great-grandchildren: Austin, Dalton and Keisha Fryman, Douglas Hopkins, Alexis Star Hopkins, Ava Skyler Hopkins, Andy and Devon Jolly, Taesha Speaks, Amiyah Speaks, Brody Rison, Kyra Fryman, Taylor Fryman, Kailee Fern Evans, Lakoda Chad Bowles, Jereigh Christian Warmouth, Jaeleigh Shaye Warmouth, Dominik, Dereck and Zachary Jones, Katie Phillips and Ashley Katheryne; one sister, Lillian Cooper; two brothers: Buford (Brooksie) Glass and Billy Ray Glass and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Madison Fryman; two children: Rose Mary Fryman and Albert David 'Davy' ( Sue) Fryman; one grandson, James Earl Travis Fryman; one sister, Audrey George; five brothers: Douglas, Herbert Lee, Kenneth, Benny and Eugene Glass.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 29, 2010 at the Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Whitaker officiating with burial following in the Longview Cemetery in Bethel. Pallbearers are, Keith Fryman, Shawn Fryman, Timothy Hopkins, Jr. McGlothin, Josh Fryman, Nick Fryman, Ricky Jolly, Marcus Hopkins, Jackie Hopkins and Jamie Phillips. Honorary bearers are, Chris Fryman and Daniel Snyder. Clark Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
