Ruby Lewman Anderson, age 84, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at Ridgeway Rehabilitation Center in Owingsville.

Born June 6, 1930, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Pearl Hamm Lewman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Anderson, four brothers, and two sisters.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by three sons, Mike Hyatt, of Wasilla, Alaska, Keith (Shirley) Hyatt, of Columbus, Ohio, and Bobby (Sandy) Hyatt, of Morehead, Kentucky; three daughters, Pam (Greg) McGehee, Judy (Larry) Early, both of Lexington, Kentucky; and Caryn (Lowell) Thompson, of Morehead, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Amy (Ben) Demboski, of Eagle River, Alaska, Nick (Chrissy) Hyatt, Kellina Pugh, Brandis (Thomas) Meade, and Tanner Thompson, all of Morehead, Kentucky; Josh Hyatt, Richmond, Virginia; Alexandria Early, Macy Early, and Samantha McGehee, all of Lexington, Kentucky; and four great-grandchildren, Kennedy Demboski and Riley Demboski, both of Eagle River, Alaska; and Mason Hyatt and Kian Meade, both of Morehead, Kentucky.

Other survivors include three sisters, Marjorie (Billy) Barnett, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, Retha Richards, of Muncie, Indiana, and Francis Puckett, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; one brother, Clifford (Charlene) Lewman, of Muncie, Indiana, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruby was a homemaker and former President of Sharkey Road Homemakers Association. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, flower and vegetable gardening, crocheting, and quilting. She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Christian Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. James DeAtley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Nick Hyatt, Tanner Thompson, Larry Early, Greg McGehee, Mason Hyatt, Josh Hyatt, Alexandria Early, Macy Early, and Samantha McGehee.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
