Evelyn F. Pinnerud, 71, of Rice Lake and formerly of Chetek died Jan. 7 at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were Tuesday morning at Burnham-Ours Funeral Home in Chetek, with the Rev. Scott officiating and burial in Dovre Cemetery in the Town of Dovre.

Mrs. Pinnerud was born Oct. 11, 1937 to Junior and Carrie (Roberts) Jefferson in Pine Grove, Ky. She married David Pinnerud on June 11, 1960 in Bonita Springs, Fla. She moved from Florida to Chetek in 1960 and to Rice Lake in 1975. She was a waitress at the Elks Club in Rice Lake and worked at Seneca Foods in Cumberland. She was a member of the Moose Auxiliary in Rice Lake. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and traveling.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan Pinnerud of Phoenix; two sons, LeRoy of Birchwood, and Daniel of Minneapolis; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Catherine Ison and Anna Mary Plank, both of Morehead, Ky., and Nola Josleyn of Crescent City, Fla.; three brothers, David of Vanceburg, Ky., Daniel of Morehead, and James of Clearfield, Ky.

Mrs. Pinnerud's husband, David, died Feb. 5, 1977.
