Annabelle Radley Whisman, age 65, of Island Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at the Signature Health Center in Bedford, Kentucky.

Born September 26, 1948, in Wilmington, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late James and Agnes Hayes Radley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brother and sisters, and her husband, James Melvin Whisman, who passed away on April 7, 2012.

Annabelle is survived by two daughters, Anita Banta and husband Gayle of Bedford, Kentucky, and Tamara Whisman of Georgetown, Kentucky; one son, James Ernest Whisman of Eddyville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Crystal Thacker and Joseph Newton; and two step grandchildren, Timothy Banta and Benjamin Banta.

She is also survived by two brothers; one sister; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Annabelle was a homemaker and especially enjoyed cooking and sewing.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Ison officiating. Burial will follow in the Whisman Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Larry Stacy, Eddie Stacy, Gayle Banta, Jr., Benjamin Banta, Joseph Newton, and Jed Justice. Honorary pallbearers: Shawn Stacy and Crystal Thacker.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
