Harold Otis Clark, 81, of Columbus, OH., formerly of Soldier, passed away Tuesday evening, August 6, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

He was born April 8, 1932, in Carter County, a son of the late John and Sarah Hamm Clark.

Harold enjoyed working on cars, junking, farming, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Moore Clark, three brothers, Harshel Clark, Harland Clark and John Clark, three sisters, Mollie Jo Blevins, Lillian Sagraves and Zelma Evans, and three infant siblings.

Harold is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, John Clark of Marion, OH., Thomas and Betty Clark of Columbus, OH., and Chalmer Clark of Soldier, one daughter, Marla Clark-DeHays of Columbus, OH., eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Bessie Gurber, Mildred Bays, Ester Shay and Ruth Bradley. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

A graveside service will be at noon Friday, August 9, 2013, at the Clark Cemetery in Soldier, with Brother Edward Jones officiating.
