Betty Bradley, 76, of Wheelersburg, went to be with her Lord on Friday, September 7, 2012, at Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg.

She was born March 14, 1936, in Vanceburg, Ky., to Lafe and Ethel Ervin Walters.

She was a longtime member of Antioch Freewill Baptist Church. Betty worked for many years at the Williams Shoe Factory. She was also a working farm wife who enjoyed sewing, canning, was a fabulous baker, and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ken, four brothers, Harry, Dan, Willy, and Henry Walters.

She is survived by one son, Larry Bradley of Chillicothe, three sisters, Emma (Marvin) Knapp, Pauline (James) Lewis, Deloris (Ervin) Howard, four brothers, Robert (Jane) Walters, Joseph (Phyllis) Walters, Preston (Bernice) Walters, James (Judy) Walters, one brother-in-law, Sam (Anita) Bradley of Portsmouth, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Rick Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace.

Friends may call Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
