Russell P. Brammer, 53, Silver Brook Farm, R.R. 5, died at Ball Memorial Hospital early Sunday, following a heart attack. He was born in Muses Mills, Ky., and has lived in this community the past 15 years. He was a member of Tabor Christian Church. Surviving besides his wife, Enid, are two sons, Leroy and Richard, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brammer, Knightstown; five sisters, Mrs. Carroll Leavelle, Mrs. Holt Stacey, Mrs. Marse Smoot, all of Knightstown, Mrs. William Green, Mrs. Robert Christian, both of Topeka, Kan.; and four brothers, Ocel Brammer, Goff, Kan., Marvin, Sac City, Ia., Floyd, Indianapolis, and Norman, Kansas City, Kan. Services will be held at the Meeks Mortuary at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. H.R. Swearingen officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown. The casket will be opened at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edwin Bosworth, John Guthrie, Dr. Claude Hudson, William Mansfield Jr.., Earl Southworth, and Arley Weaver. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Monday, and any time before the services Tuesday.
