Betty Lou Johnson Gulley, 66, of Wallingford passed away Sunday November 2, 2014 at Fleming County Hospital.

Betty was born May 29, 1948 in Fleming County to the late Cecil and Anna Jones Johnson.

Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a retired nurse’s aid having worked many years for Pioneer Trace Nursing Home and Hayswood Home Health.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years Ben Gulley; children Brenda Luman of Tilton, Jeff (Elizabeth Nonie Smith) Mineer of Wallingford, Jennifer Warder of Flemingsburg, Joey (Peggy) Mineer of Wallingford, Becky (Bill) Kegley of Vanceburg and Ben (Amber) Allen Gulley Jr.; grandchildren Scott Gulley, Roger & Michelle Pence, Jennifer Ann and Daniel Blake Gulley, Tabitha Marie Mineer, Dustin, Cody and Jenna Warder, Joanna & Austin Mineer, Cole, Logan & Kyla Kegley, Austin & Trinity Gulley; 7 great grandchildren; brother Cecil Johnson; sister Dorothy Hardymon; sister-in-law Connie Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons Eugene Alan and Danny Robert Gulley, and a brother David Lee Johnson.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Thursday November 6, 2014 at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Herbie Stallard officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Wed. at the funeral home.
