She was born in this county and was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James King. She was married twice, her first husband being the late William Dudley Johnson. Several years after his death, she was united in marriage to James Ray.

She was survived by 7 children; Perry Johnson of Seymour, Charles Johnson of Redding Twp., Elbert Johnson of Medora, James Johnson of Chicago, Clarence Ray of Chicago, John Ray and Mrs. Mary Lineback of Indianapolis. She also leaves several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Burial was at Driftwood Cemetery.
