TOLLESBORO | Timothy Lee 'Timmy' Doyle, 52, of Mount Carmel, tragically passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013.

He was born Nov. 1, 1960, in Carter County to the late Sanford and Blanche Hester Doyle.

Timmy was a devoted Christian and a member of Tollesboro Christian Church. He touched many lives through his Christian music ministry. He loved singing for the Lord.

He was was deeply dedicated to his family and loved vacationing with them in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tenn. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch swing; watching football; and cheering on the UK Wildcats.

Timmy was widely loved and respected in the community. He always had a kind word and good joke to tell.

He worked at Southern States in Flemingsburg for more than 25 years.

He cultivated many lasting friendships during that time, and cherished every single one of them.

Timmy was excitedly looking forward to welcoming his first grandchild, a boy, Timothy Benaiah Doyle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Wanda Stephens.

Timmy is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tammy Doyle; four children, Kasey (Alan) Hill, T.J. (Rebecca) Doyle, Hannah (Ben) Hamm and Haley Doyle; four sisters, Beulah Howell, Judy (Bobby) Corns, Marcella (Mike) Roberts and Betty (Mike) Masters; two brothers, Wendell Doyle and Raymond (Ruby) Doyle; several brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Tollesboro Christian Church with John Moore and Hillary Underwood officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ruark, Marty Roberts, Tim Ritchie, Ed Applegate, Larry Bryant and Ricky Brown.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m., today, Jan. 7, at the Tollesboro Christian Church.
