FLEMINGSBURG | Steven Kirtley Doyle, 61, of Lexington, formerly of Brooksville, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital East in Lexington.

He was born on Nov. 25, 1950, in Maysville, to the late Cecil Kirtley Doyle and Hazel Irene Jones Doyle.

Mr. Doyle was a retired supervisor with Columbia Gas, he had also served in the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War in Germany as a cook.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Hollon Doyle of Lexington; children. Kathy Doyle of Lexington, Chris Doyle of Brooksville, Stacy Battles of Lexington, Wendy Peyton of Nicholasville, and Dustin Curtis of Bell, W.Va.; grandchildren, Brittany and Rachael Doyle, Braden, Bailey and Audrey; mother, Hazel Irene Jones Doyle of Flemingsburg; siblings, Mary (Garner) Murray of Augusta, Sharon Jones of Maysville, Mike Doyle of Lexington, and Kelly (Debbie) Doyle of Flemingsburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

Services 1p.m., Friday at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Wedonia Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post No. 5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
