REV. WILLIAM CONLEY The Rev. William N. Conley, 65, of 316 East 54th street, died Tuesday evening at St. Johns Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Soldier Kentucky, he retired in 1971 from Guide Lamp after 26 years of service. He was a member of the North Fourteenth Church of God in New Castle where he served as minister for 20 years. Surviving with the widow, Onie, are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bulah Acree of Anderson; three stepsons, Allen Glover of Anderson, Jesse Glover of Heath Ohio and Elbert Glover of Connersville; two brothers, Mr. Hazel Conley of Anderson , Rube Conley of Ohio and a sister, Mrs. Pearl Jent of Greencastle. 24 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the North Fourteenth Church of God with the Rev. Dennis Hinton officiating and Rev. Elwood Evans assisting. Burial will follow in the South Mound Cemetery in New Castle. Freinds may call at the Harold E. Rozelle funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
