Elbert Glover, 71, 100 W. 22nd St., Connersville, died Sunday at Fayette Memorial Hospital, Connersville, after a sudden illness. He was born June 23, 1919, in Upper Tygart, Ky., and moved to Connersville in 1966. He retired in 1979 from National Metal Products of Connersville and was a member of Bethel Apostolic church. Survivors include his wife, Phylis Oakley Glover; five sons, Elbert R. Glover Jr., Phillip Glover Sr., Michael J. Glover, Richard A. Glover, all of Connersville, and Robert D. Glover of Wayne County; three daughters, Barbara Gustin, Diane Shaul and Pauline Limbrock, all of Connersville; two stepdaughters, Connie Johson of Jacksonburg and Brenda Glover of Connersville; two stepsons, William Oakley Jr. and Richard Oakley, both of Connersville; a brother, Jesse Glover Jr. of Newark, Ohio; a sister Beulah Acree of Anderson; 25 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. His first wife, Marjorie Carroll Glover, died in 1984. Sevices will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Bethel Apostolic Church in Connersville with Pastor Tom Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Dale Cemetery in Connersville. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Miller Funeral Home in Connersville.
