Marie Fannin, 88, of Morristown, died Jan. 1, 2010. Born Oct. 26, 1921 in Rowan County, Ky., she was the daughter of Albert Allen and Essie (Masters) Glover, both deceased. She married Herbert Fannin Nov. 22, 1941; he preceded her in death July 1, 1981. Mrs. Fannin was a homemaker and had worked as a part-time clerk at the U.S. Post Office. She attended East Street Christian Church in Carthage for many years. She was an avid IU fan. Survivors include sons, Ronnie (Becky) Fannin of Pendleton and Richard (Deb) Fannin of Arlington; daughter, Bonnie (Michael) Sisk of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judi Peacock; two brothers; two sisters; and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown. Burial will be in Knightstown's Glen Cove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
