Paul F. Caudill Killed Instantly In Car Wreck

Francis Caudill, 17, Cable, Champaign County, Ohio., former resident of
Staffordsville, was killed instantly Sunday when two cars crashed
head-on U.S. 68 at Bellefontaine, Ohio. Also injured in the collision
were Jesse Hitchcock Jr., 22, Urbana, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Thomnas
Gulledge and daughter, Sandra all of Detroit, Mich. Caudill was born at
Staffordsville May 15, 1937, the son of Grant and Angeline Jayne
Caudill. He had been a resident of Cable for three years. Surviving
besides the parents are six sisters. Mrs. Anna Lee Thompson, Mrs. Beulah
May Daniel, Joan, Mary, and Ruby Fay Caudill, all of Cable, Ohio, and
Mrs Mrs. Mable Blanton of this city. Funeral services were held today at
the Old Union Baptist Church at Staffordsville with the Rev. Elzie
Daniel of Mechanicsburg, Ohio., officiating. Burial was made in the
Jayne Cemetery under the direction of the Jones and Preston Funeral
Home.
