Paul Raymond Hitchcock, age 49, died December 25, 1984, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lewiston Idaho, following a brief illness. Born in Johnson County, February 16, 1935, the son of the late Opal Pelphrey Hitchcock and Estill Hitchcock, who survives. Mr. Hitchcock was a Vietnam Veteran and a resident of Lewiston, Idaho, at the time of his death. In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Grace Pelphrey Hitchcock, Oil Springs; two daughters, Paula and Judy Hitchcock, both of Lewiston, Idaho; a brother, Cecil Hitchcock, Staffordsville; two sisters, Madge Blair, Lucasville, Ohio, Lina Mahan, Barnetts Creek; and a grandchild. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 29, 1984, in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Francis Blair and Franklin Williams officiating. Burial was made in the Blanton Branch Cemetery, at Manila, under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
