Archie Trimble, 76, of Paintsville, Ky., formerly of Urbana, died at 5:13 p.m. Friday at Mercy Medical Center, Springfield. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Opaline) Watkins, Bellefontaine. Born in Barnett's Creek, Ky., July 30, 1902, he was a son of Green and Sarah Trimble. His first wife, Eva, preceded him in death in 1968. He was later married to Maymie Robinson who survives. Ge us aksi survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Philip (Ann) Rutan, Urbana; and Mrs. William (Dorothy) Stidham, Milford Center; two sons, Eldon, Donaldson, Tenn.; and Robert, Mt. Clemens, Mich.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Betty Bayes, Jamestown; and Kathleen Trimble, Oil Springs, Ky.; two stepsons, Billy Robinson, Pontiac, Mich.; and Eugene Robinson, Paintsville, Ky.; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A retired self-employed contractor, he was a member of the Free Will Baptist church, Urbana. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Walter funeral home, Urbana, with the Rev. Billy McCarty in charge. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
