Frank McKenzie, 70, Volga, died Thursday morning in Paintsville Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. McKenzie was born Aug. 16, 1908, in Johnson County, a son of the late James and Laura Mahan McKenzie. He was a retired coal miner and farmer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Lemaster McKenzie; five sons, Almous Paul McKenzie of Springfield, Ohio, Roger McKenzie of Phillipsburg, Ohio, Lowell McKenzie of Sunbury, Ohio, Elden McKenzie of Volga and Alan McKenzie of Centersburg, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Ernestine McFarland of Pataskala Ohio, Mrs. Virginia Jackley of Sunbury and Mrs. Edna Lynn Davidson of Delaware, Ohio; a brother, Hallie McKenzie of Volga; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Long and Mrs. Maxie McCarty, both of Columbus; and 26 grandchildren. The body is at the Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Paintsville Herald August 24,1978
