THOMPSON, Mae (McCarty) 1906-1977 Mrs. Mae Thompson, 69, died Sunday, February 20, at her South Charleston, OH residence. She was the daughter of Paris and Alvarie McCarty, was born in Paintsville on January 27, 1906, and was a member of the Victory Chapel Revival Center. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Jay Thompson, whom she married February 19, 1972; seven sons, two stepsons, six daughters, five brothers, two sisters, 56 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 22 in the Victory Chapel Revival Center with Rev. Elmer Harris officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery in South Charleston with Ingling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
