Former Resident Dies Sa turday Of Heart Attack A victim of a sudden heart attack, Thurman McKenzie, 53,former resident of this city, was found dead in a bed at his apartment in Jackson, Ohio, Saturday morning. The son of Ollie and Martha McCarty McKenzie, he was born in this county May 3, 1905, and had lived in Jackson for the past six years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had been a miner and restaurant employee. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ora Estep McKenzie, and one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Jewell Delong, both of this city. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Bill McKenzie, Manila; Elbert McKenzie, Calif.; half brothers, Johnnie Conley, Calif.; Lunda Conley, Catlettsburg; Anna Cantrell and Alta Lemaster, both of Catlettsburg; Malta Smith, West Virginia. Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday from the chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home by Rev. M.R. Thomason, pastor of First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
