Hammie Curtis,37, of Columbus, Ohio died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday December 3,at Circleville, Ohio as the results of automobile accident. He was born August 15,1923, at Manila but had been a resident of Columbus, Ohio for the past five years were he was employed as a construction worker. He was the son of John and Mary McCarty Curtis. He was married to Elouise Fairchilds who survives. Also surviving is one son Johnny Frank, Columbus,Ohio and two daughters Nora McCarty, Manlia,and Ruth McCoy, Barboursville, W.Va. Two brothers, Waltrr Curtis, Manila and Flem of Staffordsville. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m, December 5, at the home of Walter Curtis with Lonza Reed and Tommie Baily as officiating ministers. Burial followed in the family cemetery.
