Anita Jo Picklesimer, 72, of Sitka, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. Born May 16, 1932, at Staffordsville, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Ollie Blanton Conley. She was a retired maintenance administrator with BellSouth, a member of Little Mud Lick Women of the Church of God, and Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include her husband, Kermit Picklesimer of Staffordsville; a son, Rick Picklesimer of Sitka; three daughters, Sherry Hinton of Frankfort, Krista Rodgers of Winchester, and Terri Goble of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, Paul Conley of Staffordsville, Norvan Conley of Berlin Heights, Ohio, and Larry Conley of Paintsville; two sisters, Karen Sue Duncan of Columbus, and Sharon Cantrell of Oil Springs; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday, May 15, at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tobe Wheeler officiating.
