Electrician, Delmar Fairchild, 37, died Tuesday, March 21 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. Mr. Fairchild was born November 14, 1957, in Johnson County, the son of Erie Blanton Fairchild and the late Eugene Fairchild. He was employed by Carpenter Sign Services of Cincinnati, OH. Surviving are his mother; one daughter, Pauline Nicole Fairchild of Bright, IN; one stepdaughter, Lois Ann Nowlin of Bright; seven brothers, Gail, James, Eual, Denzel, Gary and Elwood, all of Oil Springs and James of Staffordsville; and six sisters, Donna Morgan of Anna, IL, Diane Blanton and Virginia Craft, both of Oil Springs, Jewell Salyer of Meally, Loretta Holden of Shepherdsville and Carol Shew of Chicago, IL. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 23 at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dick VanHoose and Elder Phillip Caudill officiating. Burial was in Blanton Cemetery at Oil Springs.
