Irene was born on November 17, 1930 to Theodore Jennings and Opal Irene Reece Kissel in Sabetha, Kansas. She graduated from Wetmore High School. On February 11, 1951, she married O. Eugene Brammer. To this union were born five children -- Linda Kay, Gloria Jean, Marcia Ann, Vickie Lynn, and Curt Eugene.
Irene is survived by her husband, Eugene, four children, Linda Moore, Council Grove, Gloria (Ed) Lansbury, Junction City, Vickie (Mark) Edwards, Wichita, and Curt(Toni)Brammer, Wilsey, KS. She also leaves a brother, John (Lucille) Kissel of Wetmore, and an aunt, Geneva (Paul) Whitaker, Wetmore.
She is preceeded in death by a daughter, Marcia Ann, her parents, and two infant brothers. 
She will be buried in Prairie Home Cemetery, northwest of Topeka, Kansas. Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.
