Thomas "Tommy" Lee McClanahan, age 46, of Watson Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013, at the Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. He was born April 22, 1967, in Fleming County, a son of Elsie Johnson McClanahan of Hillsboro and the late Thomas Melford "Tommy" McClanahan. In addition his mother, Tommy Lee is survived by his wife, Amanda Ratliff McClanahan, whom he married May 15, 2012; two sons, Gary Auston Lee Brierley and Dalton LaShane Thomas McClanahan, and a daughter, Candy Ann Marie McClanahan, all at home; one sister, Rita Story and husband Marion of Hillsboro; one nephew, John Story; one niece, Amanda Maynard and husband Chris; two great nieces, Autumn Maynard and Amelia Maynard; one great nephew, Corbin Maynard; and many other nieces and nephews, family members, and numerous friends. Tommy Lee was a caretaker at Hillsboro Cemetery, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, and a good friend to all who knew him. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, at Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Gerald Saunders and Brother Jim Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ray Fox, Bruce Gillum, David Pease, Barry Manning, Tyler Reffitt, and Ryan Ratliff. Honorary Pallbearers: Tommy Lee's two sons, Auston and Dalton, nephew, John Story, and long-time friend, Clarence Gallagher. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Hutton Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
