Donald G. Hamm, 73, of Ashland, KY., died Sunday evening, August 12, 2012, at his home following an extended illness. 

Donald was born July 28, 1939, at Worthington, Kentucky, a son of the late Ernest and Emma Maynard Hamm.

He was retired from the Maintenance Department at AK Steel and was a CB radio enthusiast. 

Surviving include a son, Anthony Hamm of Ashland, KY., two daughters, Julie Anne Resch and Patricia Jo Mills-Litwin of Long Beach, California, a brother, Dan Hamm of Flatwoods, KY., and a sister, Patricia Ward of Lexington, Kentucky. 

Graveside services will be a 1 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012, at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens, by Bro. Keith Menshouse. 

Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Preston Family Funeral Home.
