Mrs. Mary Lou Crace McKenzie, 72, died at 11:25 a.m., August 11, after several months' illness, due to a heart condition.

The daughter of William R. and Julia Jackson Crace, she was born March 15, 1886, at Oil Springs but had been a resident of Volga for the past fifty-four years.

She was affiliated with the Baptist Church.

Mrs. McKenzie was married September 14, 1905, at Volga to Forest L. McKenzie, who survives.

Surviving beside the husband are two sons, Everett and Buell McKenzie, both of Volga, two daughters, Lura Williams, Volga, and Julia Mae Williams, Fairborn, Ohio and three brothers, Albert and Archie Crace of Oil Springs, and Ashland Crace of Florida, eight grand- children and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the home at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 14, with Bruce Daniel and Ellis Hamilton as officiating ministers and the Toms Creek Quartet furnishing the music.

Burial was made in the family cemetery at Volga.
