CHARLES MONROE JOHNSON, the son of GREEN and LUCY JANE JOHNSON, was born in Moorehead KY 20 Feb 1861. Died at home of son CHARLES ALBERT JOHNSON in Brookfield 2 Dec 1943. At age 4, came with parents to where the town of Purdin MO now is, living all his life until a month ago, when he went to live with son. 2 Nov 1892 married MAE WOLFE. Children born, 2 daughters died in infancy; Mrs JOHN LATTA and CHARLES ALBERT JOHNSON survive with brother GEORGE of Purdin MO. Burial Purdin.
