Norma Jean McKee Farrow, 84, of Flemingsburg, passed away at Friday, September 1, 2017, at Fleming County Hospital. Born November 9, 1932, in Maysville, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Victory Helphenstine McKee. Norma retired from U. S. Shoe Factory in Flemingsburg. She also had worked in housekeeping at Fleming County Hospital and at a local Flemingsburg daycare. She was a member of the Flemingsburg Christian Church. She was an avid UK basketball fan. She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Marvin Farrow; her son, James “Twiddle” Farrow; her daughter, Connie (Larry) Purcell, all of Flemingsburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin (Sarah) Farrow and Amelia (Rory) Strahm; and her great grandchildren, Emma, A.J. and Taytum. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her great grandson, Greer Wilder Farrow; her daughter-in-law, Vannedra Dodge Farrow; and her brother, Mauvoreen McKee. Services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 6th, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Layne Wagner and Bro. Jimmy Caswell. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers include Donnie McKee, Justin Farrow, Rory Strahm, A.J. Farrow, Larry Purcell, Connie Gray, and Bobby Gray. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
