Fred Warren Brown, Jr., age 57, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, formerly of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident while traveling in Powell County, Kentucky.

He was born January 5, 1954, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is the son of Fred Warren Brown, Sr., and Flossie Sparks Brown of Morehead, Kentucky.

He is also survived by his wife Regina Lynn "Gina" Stanley Brown, whom he married December 20, 1975; two sons, Marcus Warren Brown and Matthew Logan Brown and his wife, Amy Christine; one grandson, Tyler Wayne Brown, all of Mt. Sterling, Ky., three sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa Marie and Rick Dumas of Grove City, Ohio, MaryAnn and Mike Kash of Morehead, Kentucky, and Penny and Bob Sahs of Morehead, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; other family; and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Wendell Clevinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be cousins Randy Brown, Jimmy Yoder, Dallas Brown, Harry Clark; nephews Todd Fannin, Jason Fannin, Jordan Bentley, Jared Hamm; and friends Steve Lewis and Steve Williams.

Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
