Madeline P. Lykins, 75, of 1835 N. Lexington-Springmill Road died Sunday evening, October 14, 2001 at Heritage Care Center after an extended illness. Mrs. Lykins was born March 23, 1926 in Olive Hill, Kentucky living in the Mansfield area the past 50 years.

She is survived by her husband, William D. Lykins of Mansfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger & Karen Lykins of Loudonville and Carl & Cheryl Lykins of Shelby; a daughter and son-in-law, Reva & James Fields of Mansfield; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald Ray & Garnett Butler of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, Elmo & Celia Cooley Butler; a son, William Mack Lykins; an infant daughter, Deloris Jean Lykins; two brothers; and a sister.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Bill Howell. Burial will be at Mansfield Memorial Park.
