Chalmer L. Glover, age 75, of Camptown Road, Bardstown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at his residence.

He was born April 20, 1938, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Thomas Allen Glover and Delma Henson Glover. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jessie and Jimmy Glover, and one sister, Betty Jean Tobin.

Chalmer is survived by his companion of 25 years, Emma Jean Madison; four children, Tawnya Glover Roar and Robert of Grahn, Kentucky, Christopher Glover and Vickie of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Kelly Glover of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Randall Glover and Patty of Grahn, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Other survivors include three brothers, Roy Glover of Grayson, Kentucky, Billy Glover and Debbie of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, and Wylie Glover of Olive Hill, Kentucky; four sisters, Mae Suttles of New Carlisle, Ohio, Louise Griffith and Bill of Olive Hill, Kentucky, twin Thelma Wilburn and James of Grayson, Kentucky, and Margaret Cardy and Frank of Silver Springs, Maryland; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Chalmer was a self-employed construction worker.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowen Chapel Cemetery in Olive Hill with family serving as pallbearers.

Visitation is after 11 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead, Kentucky.
