Mr. Wylie Harrison Glover, age 65, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday evening, April 9, 2016, at his residence. He was born July 31, 1950, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Thomas Allen and Delma Henson Glover. Wylie proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed taking care of the Bowen Chapel Cemetery and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James Preston Glover, Jessie Glover, and Chalmer Glover and one sister, Betty Jean Tobin. Wylie is survived by two brothers and one sister-in-law, Roy Glover of Ashland, Kentucky and Bill and Debbie Glover of Mount Washington, Kentucky, and four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Ina Mae Suttles of New Carlisle, Ohio, Louise and Bill Griffith of Globe, Kentucky, Thelma and James Wilburn of Grayson, Kentucky and Margaret Rose and Frank Cardy of Silver Spring, Maryland. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Chris Glover and Brother Clyde Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowen Chapel Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with military honors presented by the Olive Hill American Legion Post #138. Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016, and until the service hour on Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164. Jeff Glover, Tom Carroll, Blain Bush, Phillip Suttles, James Glover, and Mike Carter will serve as pallbearers.
