Frances Jane "Kirby" Hamm Jones, age 46, of Soldier, Kentucky, passed away Thursday morning, September 4, 2014, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

She was born May 3, 1968, in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of Willie and Toni Alice Conley Hamm of Soldier, Kentucky.

Frances was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robbie Lee Hamm and Harold Hamm, and one sister, Freda May Hamm.

In addition to her parents, Frances is survived by her companion, Jimmy Hicks; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Nelson Jones of Butler, Indiana, Bruce Jones of Butler, Indiana, and Anthony and Stormy Maenle of Soldier, Kentucky; one daughter, Megan Jones of Soldier, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Peyton Walker, Jaylnn Rose "Sweet Tater" Skaggs, and Kaylee "Sugar Bug" Maenle; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Joe and Janie Hamm of Morehead, Kentucky, Edgar and Donna Hamm of Morehead, Kentucky, Mike Hamm of Soldier, Kentucky, Ben and Janet Hamm of Pea Sticks, Kentucky, and Jessie and Mary Ann Hamm of Soldier, Kentucky; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Sharon Hamm of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Carol Ann Hamm of Morehead, Kentucky, Loretta and Jim Herron of Grayson, Kentucky, Mable Sue Pelfrey of Soldier, Kentucky, and Tina and Bobby Walton of Morehead, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves many other family members who sadly mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will take place in Butler, Indiana.

Friends may visit from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
