Mr. Michael Hamm, age 48, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday evening, March 23, 2015, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.

He was born August 25, 1966, in Morehead, Kentucky, a son of Toni "Alice" Conley Hamm of Soldier, Kentucky, and the late Willie Edgar Hamm.

Michael was a self employed carpenter and loved going ginseng hunting, riding four wheelers, and making canes out of twisty sticks.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robbie Lee Hamm and Harold Hamm, and two sisters, Freda May Hamm and Frances Jane "Kirby" Jones.

In addition to Michael's mother, he is survived by three sons, Michael Collins, Wayne Collins, and Tony Collins, all of Akron, Ohio; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Joe and Janie Hamm and Edgar Hamm, all of Morehead, Kentucky, Ben and Janet Hamm of Owingsville, Kentucky, and Jessie and Mary Ann Hamm of Morehead, Kentucky; and five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Sharon Hamm of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Carol Ann Hamm of Morehead, Kentucky, Loretta and Jim Herron of Grayson, Kentucky, Mable Sue Pelfrey of Soldier, Kentucky, Tina and Bobby Walton of Morehead, Kentucky. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Hamm Family Cemetery in Soldier, Kentucky, with Brother Don Rivers and Brother Bobby Day officiating.

Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at the cemetery.

Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, is caring for all arrangements for Mr. Michael Hamm.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
