Mrs. Judy Kay Rayburn Roark, age 69, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday morning, December 11, 2015, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born May 5, 1946, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Raymond and Opal Hilderbrand Rayburn. Judy attended Globe Christian Church and retired from Northeast Community Development Center where she worked as a preschool teacher. She enjoyed working in her flowers, gardening, cooking, rock hunting, and being a caregiver. Judy always had a smile for everyone and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Rayburn. Judy is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Brown Adkins of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Julie Rayburn of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Rex and Sarah Evans of Sutter, California, and Timmy and Mary Ann Evans of Louisville, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Leronis and Jeanette Hilderbrand of Tallulah, Louisiana, and Talmadge and Linda Lou Rayburn, Leroy and Tina Rayburn, Lawrence "Buck" and Shelia Rayburn, Billy Joe and Jackie Jo Rayburn, and Greg and Charlotte Rayburn, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Lodenia and Donald Erwin of Carthage, Indiana, Irene and Frank Evans of Grayson, Kentucky, and Carolyn and Bill Perry, Pamela and Sam Hughes, and Barbara and Bill Wilson, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Globe Christian Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Pastor David Rayburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Rayburn Family Cemetery on Flat Fork in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015, and until the service hour on Tuesday at Globe Christian Church, West US Highway 60 - Globe, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164. Rex Evans, Timothy Evans, Anthony Rayburn, Lance Adkins, Clay Adkins, and Brown Adkins will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Judy's brothers, Leronis Hilderbrand, Talmadge Rayburn, Leroy Rayburn, Lawrence "Buck" Rayburn, Billy Joe Rayburn, and Greg Rayburn.
