Mrs. Carolyn Rayburn Perry, age 67, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday morning, November 10, 2016, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. She was born June 2, 1949, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Raymond and Opal Hilderbrand Rayburn. Carolyn was a member of the First Christian Church of Olive Hill and was a Social Worker for 34 years. She was also a member of the Homemakers and enjoyed quilting, working in her flower garden, watching sporting events with the love of her life, sitting on the porch and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who she supported in their sporting activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Rayburn and one sister, Judy Roark. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 44 years, William 'Bill' Perry; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Patrick and Julie Perry of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Kelly Perry of Erlanger, Kentucky, and Kyle and Miranda Perry of Grayson, Kentucky; three grandchildren, William Orry Perry, Molly Anne Perry, and Owen Andrew Perry; six brothers and five sisters-in-law, Leronis Hilderbrand of Tallulah, Louisiana, Talmadge and Linda Lou Rayburn, Leroy and Tina Rayburn, Lawrence 'Buck' and Shelia Rayburn, and Billy Joe and Jackie Jo Rayburn, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Greg and Charlotte Rayburn of Emerson, Kentucky; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Lodenia Erwin of Carthage, Indiana, Irene and Frank Evans of Grayson, Kentucky, Pamela Rayburn and Sam Hughes, and Barb and Bill Wilson, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the First Christian Church of Olive Hill with Pastor David Gee officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2016, and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the First Christian Church of Olive Hill. Patrick Perry, Kelly Perry, Kyle Perry, Orry Perry, Matthew Grills, Paul Evans, and Anthony Rayburn will serve as pallbearers.
