Robert 'Bobby' Lee Caskey, Sr.
(November 13, 1945 - February 7, 2011)

Mr. Robert Lee 'Bobby' Caskey, Sr., 65, of North Blair, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011 in the Elliott Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.

He was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on November 13, 1945, a son of Velva Clark Caskey and the late O'Rear Caskey.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Ray Caskey, who passed away on June 7, 2009.

Bobby owned and operated Caskey Cab for over 35 years.

He was a graduate of Rowan County High School, an associate member of the Morehead American Legion Post No. 126 for over 40 years, and he was a Christian. Bobby enjoyed U.K. Basketball, four wheeling, shooting pool and spending time with all of his family, especially with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his mother, Velva Clark Caskey of Morehead, two sons, Robert Lee Caskey, Jr. of Morehead and Richie (Janet) Caskey of Clearfield, one daughter, Lisa Caskey of Morehead, two half-brothers, Jimmy Caskey of Morehead and Don Caskey of Florida, five grandchildren, Derik (Celia)Caskey, Brooke Caskey, Nikki Caskey, Cheyenne Caskey and Haley Caskey, two great-grandchildren, Kyran Caskey and Caleb Bales, two nieces, Kem (Mike) Tackett and Krista (Mel) Utterback and the mother of his children, Darlene Caskey of Morehead.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 10, 2011 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor David Starcher officiating.

Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Caskey, Derik Caskey, Jim Gozzard, Mike Tackett, Mark 'Cotton' Gamble and Ora Lee 'Buddy' Butler.
