Evelyn Humbles, 77, of New Castle passed away Wed., Jan. 21,2015 at Henry County Hospital.

She was born July 1,1937 in Henry County, the daughter of the late Oville and Juanita Armstrong. She was a graduate of New Castle High School. She worked at the New Castle Henry County Public Library as a Bookmobile Librarian, followed by several years as a Social Worker for the Salvation Army. Recently she worked for Wilbur Wright Memorial Museum. She loved painting, taught piano and studied Genealogy.

Survivors include her 2 sons Marvin of New Castle and Marion "Chip" of St. Louis, MO; 1 daughter Becky Weibe of Montana; sisters Julia Logston of Richmond, Vickie (husband Mike) Bertram of New Castle; brothers Keith (wife Helen) Armstrong of TX and Mike Armstrong of Sullivan. Grandchildren Linny, Thomas, Tiffany, Stephanie and Aly. Great-grandchildren Aaron, Selina, Nigel, Ayden, Jackson.

Preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Michelle Lynann (Chelle).

Services will be Sat., Jan. 24,2015 at 10 a.m. at Marcum Community Funeral Home, Rev. Bill Palmer will be officiating. Friends may call Friday 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
