Helen R. Hilderbrand, 50, of New London, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007, at Samaritan Regional Health System Hospital.

On Jan. 17, 1957, in Willard, Mrs. Hilderbrand was born to John and Orpha (Wisecup) Deppen.

She had been a resident of Ashland County most her life. Mrs. Hilderbrand worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Ashland.

On Dec. 17, 1979, Helen married Gordon Hilderbrand who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Holli Mann of Ashland, Heidi Tyson of Lexington and Jessica Hilderbrand of Ashland; five grandchildren; her mother, Orpha Deppen of New London; one brother, John Deppen; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Burt Bolen of Willard, Mary and Larry Senter of Greenwich and Janet and Russel Lacey of Willard.

Mrs. Hilderbrand was preceded in death by her father, John Deppen and a brother, James Deppen.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad St., Ashland, with Pastor Herman King officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
