David Swinford Doyle, 83 of Cynthiana, Ky., died Sunday September 21, 2008 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born December 15, 1924 in Harrison Co., KY., a son of the late Orville David and Annie Alice Pope Doyle. Mr. Doyle was a retired farmer and Lebus Tobacco Warehouse employee, and was the former president of Church League Softball.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Eunice R. Doyle Moyers.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Doris Jean Hill Doyle, a son David Keith (Dorothy) Doyle, a daughter, Leah (David Allen) Riggle, all of Harrison Co., brothers, A. J. (Wanda) Doyle, Harrison Co., Charles (Shelby) Doyle, Nicholas Co., Donald (Melba) Doyle, Harrison Co., sisters, Marjorie (Andy) Fryman, Cynthiana, Phyllis (Robert) Brady, Nicholas Co., and his grandchildren, William David and Stacey Renee Riggle, Samuel David and Sarah Jo Doyle.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Tom Moore.

Burial will follow the service in the Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
